SUMMARY
Independently provide and direct the characterization of process optimization strategies and troubleshooting of operational issues in manufacturing, pilot plant, or capital projects. Apply advanced engineering principles to design and implement major system modifications, experiments, processes, and capital projects. Develop, organize, analyze, and present interpretations of results for complex operational issues or engineering projects.
Educational/Software Requirements:
🎓 Doctorate degree OR
🎓 Master’s degree with 3 years of engineering experience OR
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
💬 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
📝 Technical writing experience
💊 Experience with cGMP procedures and engineering practices in pharmaceutical/biotech production
⚙️ Knowledge of Quality Risk Assessments (FMEA and/or QRAES)
🔄 Experience with change control, nonconformance, CAPAs, and validation practices
📊 Proficiency with Maximo and handling Purchase Orders (PO)
🤝 Experience working with and escorting vendors
📚 Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
🔍 Independent, self-motivated, and organized with strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills
🌟 Flexible work schedule to support 24/7 operations, including occasional after-hours engineering coverage
