This role focuses on developing valuable data products across the Operations Domain (Process Development, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing). Life Sciences present a unique and challenging data environment due to the integration of scientific research, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical logistics. • Proficiency with distributed computing tools (e.g., Spark, Hive) and AWS cloud services ☁️💻
• Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Airflow) 🔄⚙️
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript 🐍💻
• Experience with agile development methodologies (Sprint, Scrum) 🔄🏃

Educational/Software Requirements

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Engineering with 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience 🎓📚

• Collaborate with Data Architects, Business SMEs, and Data Scientists to architect data products 🏢👩‍💻
• Build data products and services for data transformation, metadata extraction, workload management, and error processing 🛠️📊
• Implement standardized, automated operational and quality control processes 🔄📈
• Drive exploration and adoption of new tools and propose data pipeline improvements 🛠️💡
• Integrate data platform with Data Scientist workbench and Analytic Tools 🔄🔍
• Create prototypes and demonstrations for better data asset utilization 🛠️💡
• Present analysis ideas and results to leadership and business partners 📊💡
• Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry best practices 🛠️🔧
