🔍 Job Opportunity: Quality Control Analyst 🧪👩‍🔬

📍 Location: Winchester, KY 40391

🚫 No C2C Agreements, Locals Only (within 50 miles of Winchester, KY)

⏰ Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

💲 Rate: $24.00 to $29.00 hourly (W-2 contract)

🚧 Onsite Position - Temp to Hire

⏳ Duration: 3 to 6 Months

I. Position Overview:

A QC Analytical chemist is a pivotal entry-level role utilizing scientific expertise for day-to-day analysis. This hands-on position involves analytical testing, computer operations, record-keeping, and report writing. Focus areas include quality testing for raw materials, in-process, finished goods, stability, and cleaning validation analysis.

II. Specific Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. 🌐💊


  • Conduct efficient, reliable analytical testing in line with USP/NF/EP/JP/FCC guidelines.
  • Typical testing includes Dissolution, Titration, Polarimetry, Loss on Drying, Viscosity, and more.
  • Maintain precise records of all analyses performed.
  • Interpret and communicate analytical results effectively.
  • Organize daily tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrate general knowledge of basic lab equipment operation.
  • Calibrate and maintain lab equipment.
  • Operate safely, adhering to laboratory and chemical hygiene practices.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Conduct peer review of analytical testing and document findings.
  • Write SOPs as needed.

III. Essential Skills and Experience:

Education or Equivalent:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences (preference for Chemistry or Biology).
  • 0-5 years of experience in Quality, Laboratory, Clinical, or Chemical manufacturing roles (including internships or co-op experience).

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

  • Ability to efficiently multitask.
  • Work well under pressure while maintaining efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of lab safety and safe chemical handling.
  • General computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to perform analytical testing while standing for extended periods.
  • Accurate testing on the first attempt under production pressure.
