π¬ Position Overview:
As a QC Analyst, you will perform essential experimental work, including analytical testing and data generation. Youβll work on quality testing for raw materials, in-process samples, finished goods, stability, and cleaning validation analysis.
π Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- π Perform high-quality analytical testing in accordance with USP/NF/EP/JP/FCC or customer guidelines (e.g., Dissolution, Titration, Polarimetry, Loss on Drying, Viscosity, Residue on Ignition, Heavy Metal Content, FTIR, HPLC, GC).
- π§Ύ Maintain accurate records of all analysis performed.
- π§ Interpret and effectively communicate analytical results and issues.
- π Organize and schedule daily tasks efficiently.
- βοΈ Operate and maintain basic laboratory equipment and instruments.
- π§ͺ Ensure lab safety, following chemical hygiene practices.
- π Develop proficiency in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and test methods.
- π§Ό Contribute to a clean and safe lab environment.
- π©βπ¬ Perform peer reviews of analytical testing and write-ups.
- π Write SOPs when necessary.
π Essential Skills and Experience:
Education:
- π Bachelorβs degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences (preferred: Chemistry or Biology).
Experience:
- 0-5 years in a Quality, Laboratory, Clinical, or Chemical Manufacturing role (internships/co-op experience included).
Knowledge & Skills:
- π Strong multi-tasking abilities and efficiency under pressure.
- π£οΈ Effective communication skills.
- π§΄ Knowledge of lab safety and ability to handle chemicals safely.
- π» General computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- π§ͺ Capable of performing accurate testing under production pressure.
- π Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
