Job Summary:

We are seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates to join ProQuality Network as Process Development Senior Associate Scientists to represent our team onsite with our client, a leader in the biotechnology industry. This is a hands-on role within the Process Development-Drug Product organization, supporting critical laboratory work in material sciences and container systems.

The selected candidates will be key contributors in a highly regulated, collaborative environment, committed to driving quality and innovation in drug product development.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Engineering and/or Sciences (Chemistry or Mechanics background)
  • Experience in:
  • Material Sciences (glass/polymers)
  • Manual/automatic inspection and packaging
  • Incoming inspection of primary containers
  • Forensics or QC of defects
  • Willingness to work in a laboratory environment focused on Process Development
  • Knowledge of:
  • Primary components specifications and methods
  • Metal, glass, and polymer formation processes
  • Defect classifications for primary container components


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Primary Packaging Evaluations and Glass/Polymer Forensics Analysis
  • Develop and implement new scientific protocols to resolve technical issues
  • Monitor relevant scientific literature and technology trends
  • Author and review scientific reports, regulatory documents, and technical summaries
  • Participate in project teams and collaborate across departments and networks
  • Serve in department-wide efforts such as safety, operational excellence, and technical committees


Specific Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:

  • Conduct research on the properties of materials (metals, polymers, ceramics)
  • Develop or improve materials for various applications
  • Perform feasibility experiments and analyze results with minimal supervision
  • Generate robust, compliant data using established methods and protocols
  • Evaluate and resolve technical issues related to container component defects
  • Use imaging acquisition equipment to interpret material behavior
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Operate specialized lab equipment and maintain sample inventory
  • Plan and monitor experimental design and support routine testing activities
  • Provide mentorship and collaborate with peers to complete shared project tasks


Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Engineering or Sciences OR
  • Master’s + 2 years of scientific experience OR
  • Bachelor’s + 4 years of scientific experience

Candidates must have the ability to conduct experiments, analyze data, and provide scientific input on protocols and regulatory compliance.


Core Competencies & Skills:

  • Advanced scientific analysis and laboratory troubleshooting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including technical writing)
  • Problem-solving, flexibility, and adaptability in managing change
  • Computer literacy and project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of cGMPs and laboratory instrumentation
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proven ability to contribute to safety, recruitment, and technical committees
