As an Engineer, you will provide critical support in optimizing processes and troubleshooting operational issues within manufacturing, pilot plants, or capital projects. You’ll apply your engineering expertise to design and implement system modifications, experiments, and projects while analyzing and interpreting results to solve operational challenges of moderate complexity.

🔍 Problem Solving & Technical Expertise
- 💡 Provide creative solutions to technical challenges of moderate scope and complexity.
- 🛠️ Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques under general supervision, seeking guidance for unusual problems.
- 🎯 Perform assignments that have clear objectives, investigating a limited number of variables.
- 📝 Complete routine technical tasks with precision.
⚙️ Operations Engineering
- ⚙️ Serve as a technical expert for equipment or systems, offering troubleshooting solutions and assisting in daily operations when needed to meet schedules or resolve complex problems.
- 📊 Conduct routine audits of operational performance and regulatory compliance for key equipment or systems.
- 🤝 Collaborate with departments like manufacturing, process development, quality assurance, and validation to recommend system modifications.
🏗️ Design Engineering
- 🏗️ Assist project managers in completing design, engineering, and construction projects on time and within budget.
- 🛠️ Partner with consultants, architects, and engineering firms to develop standard design documents.
- 💬 Obtain and assess quotes for equipment modifications or installations.
- 📅 Generate basic project cost estimates and schedules for successful project management.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.
🎓 Education Requirements 🎓
- 🎓 Master’s degree OR
- 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering & 2 years of relevant experience.
🏅 Preferred Qualifications 🏅
- 🎓 Background in Packaging, Materials Science, or Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical).
- 🛠️ Minimum 2 years of engineering experience, ideally in packaging operations.
- ✅ Excellent knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- 📦 Strong understanding of pharmaceutical packaging materials (bottles, labels, trays, etc.).
- 📊 Familiarity with testing standards like ASTM, ISO, TAPPI, USP, EP, and distribution testing per ASTM D4169.
- 💼 Strong interpersonal, project management, technical problem-solving, and communication skills.
- 🤝 Ability to work well in teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- 📝 Experience writing test protocols, performing technical evaluations, and preparing reports.
- 🔬 Knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes and validation procedures.
- 💻 Familiarity with operating laboratory equipment and interpreting GLPs and GMPs.
- 📝 Strong skills in technical report writing, problem-solving, presentations, and analytical troubleshooting.
- 🛠️ Ability to manage change effectively and demonstrate organizational skills.
